Grace, how stunningly beautiful! As I prayed your litany, I could only think of how much joy you brought to Jesus by your words of love. Each title you gave to Him was so very meaningful. You should print this on prayer cards for others to share. I hope you don’t mind my reblogging it. I want everyone to read it!

I posted an earlier comment regarding this Litany, but it seems as though it didn’t work. So please excuse me if you receive this twice. I am so grateful to Patricia for sharing this and it is a wonderful work of love. I actually printed this off and prayed this to Our Lord last evening. It is also an ‘others’ confirmation that what I experience in my own heart resonates in others as well. We are simply mad in love with the One whose Love we cannot fully comprehend but we try. His name is truly perfume poured out (SS 1:3). Thank you for sharing such an intimate Litany of Love. God + bless you.

Thank you for your very kind words! I love being Catholic! Christianity isn’t quite such a love story in the Protestant world. Song of Songs is my favorite book of the Bible! There’s two verses I like to pray before Communion “Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth, for Your love is better than wine.” (Communion is sometimes called the kiss of Christ upon the soul.) and “Let my Lover come to His garden and eat its fruits of choicest yield.”.
