Reasons for Devotion to the Precious Blood

precious blood

  1. Ven. Fulton Sheen recommends it as a special defense and offense against devils. “Let me tell you what the most powerful influences are against the demoniac. ….His Precious Blood. We do not have an adequate devotion to the Blood of Christ. But these are the two great arms, the Holy Name of Jesus and invoking the Blood of Christ.”
  2.  It carries all the benefits of devotion to the Passion, since they are essentially the same thing. Meditation on the Passion Virtues Gained Through Meditation on the Passion
  3. It creates a spirit of reparation and penance in the soul, so necessary for the Christian life and the state of today’s world.
  4. It is the secret of our final battle against satan in the last days. “They conquered him by the Blood of the Lamb….”
  5. It is the means by which Mary shields our world from the just consequences of our sins.   “I have prevented the coming of calamities by offering Him the sufferings of the Son on the Cross, His Precious Blood, and beloved souls who console Him forming a cohort of victim souls.….Without attaching too much attention to the form, be faithful and fervent in prayer to console the Master.”  —- Our Lady of Akita
  6. We unite ourselves to the most powerful prayer of all: the Mass, by offering in spirit what the Mass offers in Sacrament, which is the Blood of the Lamb of God.
  7. It is a humbling devotion because in it we focus on what God has done for us, rather than what we have done for Him, and acknowledge that it is His sacrifice alone that gives ours value.    “We love because he first loved us.”         —   1 John 4:19    “The Church has always taught that all our penance without Christ’s passion is not worth a pea.” —St. Thomas More

In the Land of the Free I will rise.  Even though the darkness will fall, I am radioactive  and will prove I’m all right with my elastic heart. The only easy day was yesterday but you will remember me for centuriesI’m at war with the world because I’m sick of it: sick of the madness in me. I’m not gonna die because this will be the labor of my love. I’m unstoppableinvincible, and I’m happy because I’ve got a hero living in me. Even though my Kung-Fu fighting is just a dream, I’m not sorry to be still. I’m a larger than life believer and will raise you like a phoenix. I’m on fire to save my soul at any cost. This aint no place for no hero to get sucked into a supermassive black hole, because I am among immortals. Greatness is in my very DNA.

Yes there is wordplay going on here. “Marvel” is referring to Marvel Universe and “Grace” is referring to my name. “Agent Nunja of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is still the only fully completed work among these. “Agent DARK of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “Team Awesome-Nunja and Heroes Inc. versus Villains Inc.” have been started.

Clarification on Pope Francis’s Words

There is a lot of confusion going around in the media concerning the Pope’s recent statement on compassion in immigration management. To truly understand what the Pope said and what he was responding to in any instance, it is essential to find the transcript of the actual conversation the Pope had and look at his words in context (transcript for this particular conversation here http://www.nytimes.com/…/ap-us-rel-pope-trump-transcript.ht… ) because the secular media is all too happy to make Christianity look bad by misrepresenting and misinterpreting. As a Catholic from the Diocese of Phoenix in Arizona, which is closer to the border than most of the USA, I’m pretty familiar with the Church’s sentiment on immigration management. You will find that the bottom line in all the Church’s words on the subject is that yes immigration management is important, but above all remember the dignity of the person (because whether you’re an illegal alien or not, you’re still a human being beloved by God) and make sure your perspective in border control is not lacking in mercy and compassion or contradictory to the immigrants’ human rights. Reading the transcript you will find that really all the Pope said was that separating families would not be in keeping with Christian charity and that he didn’t want to get involved in a political discussion. The link below will also help clarify the situation.

POPE, TRUMP, AND IMMIGRATION

A “Love Letter” from God to YOU!

Littlest Souls

Here I have created a “Love letter” from God to all sinners, by combining the words of various private revelations (without changing their true meaning) of Jesus to: St. Faustina, Sr. Josefa Menendez, Sr. Mary of the Trinity and Sr. Benigna Consolata Ferrero (all revelations have been taken from reliable Catholic books with an imprimatur):

“You know that it is the property of fire to destroy and to enkindle. In the same way, My Heart’s property is to pardon, love, and purify. Never think that I shall cease to love you because of your miseries… No, My Heart loves you and will never forsake you… Each soul is a matchless treasure to Me!… My love has no limits… My mercy is more abundant for sinners than the just… they have a right before others to trust in the abyss of My mercy… I pursue sinners as justice pursues criminals. But justice…
